This new school year begins with a new commitment for TESL Niagara. We are strongly committed to the profession and the professionalism of our members. As always, it is our primary goal to provide an annual spring conference that interests and informs.

But TESL Niagara is now more than ever concerned with letting others know about our profession and our professionalism. To this end, we are working on making our place in our community. This means showing others who we and our students are. This new website is just the beginning of plans for a stronger, more visible TESL Niagara.

There are many other things in the works, with another of our main goals being how our teaching effects the family. By bringing together teachers from the elementary, secondary, adult and post-secondary schools, we can find ways to help our immigrant family members understand each other and the issues facing them as they plan for their futures here together.

It's an exciting time, and we invite you to join us as we grow.
